We recommend that you contact the Training Provider that instructed your SafeLandUSA orientation course and request your card from that Training Provider. All SafeLandUSA Training Providers must be accredited by one of three SafeLandUSA-endorsed organizations, listed below for your reference. In the event the Training Provider does not provide your permanent SafeLandUSA card upon your request, you may contact the SafeLandUSA endorsed organization directly for more information and further assistance.

You may also view your SafeLandUSA credentials and instruction details at any time by visiting the SafeLandUSA training database portal. Simply enter your first and last name and either your date of birth or last four digits of your Social Security number to access your SafeLandUSA records. Select “Training Detail” to see your SafeLandUSA credentials.

In order to replace a SafeLandUSA card, you must contact the SafeLandUSA endorsed organization who issued the card initially and request a card reprint.

If you need assistance identifying the organization that issued your SafeLandUSA card, we suggest that you go to the SafeLandUSA training database portal and select “Trainee Lookup.” Simply enter your first and last name and then either your date of birth or last four digits of your Social Security number to access your SafeLandUSA records. Select “Training Detail” to see your SafeLandUSA credentials. The first three to four initials of your card # will identify the SafeLandUSA endorsed organization who issued the card for the training provider.

To change the name of the employer on your SafeLandUSA card, you must contact the SafeLandUSA endorsed organization that issued your SafeLandUSA card and request the change of employer directly through the SafeLandUSA endorsed organization. There may be a minimal fee associated to changing the employer of record and printing/shipping your new SafeLandUSA card.

There are various methods of verifying that someone has completed an accredited SafeLandUSA orientation course. First, each SafeLandUSA card must have the student’s picture and unique ID. All ID #’s (IADC/ETC/Veriforce) will be 12 characters.

 For example:

• ETC123456789
• PEC123456789
• IADCA1234567

If it does not have 12 characters in the ID, then it is not a valid SafeLandUSA card.

LOOK FOR THE SAFELANDUSA LOGO

Review the individual’s SafeLandUSA card. Every person who successfully completes an accredited SafeLandUSA orientation course will receive a permanent SafeLandUSA card. The SafeLandUSA card must include a SafeLandUSA logo.

If the card does not display the SafeLandUSA logo, it IS NOT a valid SafeLandUSA card.

VERIFY SAFELANDUSA ORIENTATION ONLINE

You may also verify completion of a SafeLandUSA Orientation course online by logging in to the SafeLandUSA Database. Simply enter the individual’s first and last name, and either the date of birth or the last four digits of the individual’s SS#.

The SafeLandUSA Advisory Group does not establish pricing and does not maintain a record of costs and schedules for a SafeLandUSA Orientation course.

The HSEUniversity charges $175 per participant for their online PEC Basic Orientation with SafeLandUSA. 

The HSEUniversity does offer discounted rates for The HSEU members and offers group rates for employers looking to get multiple employees trained.

The HSEUniversity offers the course online every other Monday and Wednesday

For additional fees, our trainers can provide a private course for your company at discounted rates on a day that works better for your organization.

The SafeLandUSA Orientation is an instructor-led course only and is not offered online. However, there are hundreds of SafeLandUSA Certified Instructors located throughout the United States who offer SafeLandUSA accredited programs.

All SafeLandUSA certified instructors must be registered with one of the three SafeLandUSA endorsed organizations, listed below. *During the Covid-19 pandemic SafeLandUSA^TM has allowed Veriforce approved instructors to teach the course online for the remainder of 2020 and possibly into 2021.

Based on the SafeLandUSA curriculum, it is required that any SafeLandUSA Orientation course be instructed in no less than 7 1/2 hours.

PEC Basic Orientation and SafeLandUSA or SafeGulfUSA certifications last a lifetime.  They do not expire, but refresher courses are offered for those who believe they could benefit from a refresher course.

Based on the SafeLandUSA curriculum, it is required that any SafeLandUSA Orientation course be instructed in no less than 7 1/2 hours. And, SafeLandUSA is not computer-based; Therefore, course participants must attend, in-person, an instructor led course and must present a state or federal issued photo identification prior to beginning the course. Furthermore, every person who successfully completes a SafeLandUSA course must receive a permanent SafeLandUSA Identification badge that reflects the individual’s photo and first/last name, employer name, unique SafeLandUSA identification number, and the SafeLandUSA logo. This permanent SafeLandUSA identification badge may be distributed to the employer of record, or directly to the person who completed the course; Either way, the identification badge should be received no later than (45) forty-five days following SafeLandUSA course completion. During your SafeLandUSA orientation course, you should have received a ‘Quality Policy’ or ‘Course Survey’. That notice should also include information about course requirements and how to report an issue. If you have any concerns about a SafeLandUSA Training Provider, please report your concerns immediately to the SafeLandUSA Endorsed Organization who certified the Instructor to teach a SafeLandUSA Accredited course.

Example: Based on the SafeLandUSA curriculum, it is required that any SafeLandUSA Orientation course be instructed in no less than 7 1/2, hours. If your course does not meet this minimum requirement, the SafeLandUSA endorsed organization that developed the SafeLandUSA Accredited course needs to know about this issue so that they may address it. We recommend that you contact the SafeLandUSA endorsed organization first and report your concerns immediately. Example: SafeLandUSA does not allow computer-based content delivery; therefore, course participants must attend, in-person, an instructor-led course and must present a state or federal issued photo identification prior to beginning the course.
